Park Shin-hye has just given birth to her second child, a baby girl, with husband Choi Tae-joon in South Korea.
Park’s agency, S.A.L.T. Entertainment, announced on Sept. 22 that the actress had given birth to a healthy daughter that day. Both mother and baby are healthy and Park is resting and recovering under the care of her family, the agency said.
With the birth of their second child, the couple is now the parent of two children, including a son born in May 2022. The couple got married in January 2022.
Park Shin-hye Gives Birth to Daughter
Park gave birth to her daughter on September 22 and the news was announced by SALT Entertainment.
The agency said it has received congratulations from people and urged fans to keep sending their warm wishes and support to the newborn. No other details about the baby’s name or other personal details were shared.
In April 2026, Park revealed her second pregnancy. At the time, her agency announced that the actress was expecting her second child, and that the baby was due in the fall.
A Family of Four
After dating for a few years, Park Shin-hye and Choi Tae-joon got married in January 2022. They had their first child, a son, in May 2022.
The couple now has four children – a daughter was born four years later.
The couple have tended to keep their family life out of the limelight, though they were snapped with their son on a family holiday to Singapore earlier this year.
Park Shin-hye’s Acting Career
Park Shin-hye is still one of the popular TV actresses of South Korea. She became famous with dramas like Stairway to Heaven, The Heirs and Pinocchio.
Her most recent TV show was the 2026 workplace comedy Undercover Miss Hong, which stars her as a financial investigator who infiltrates a securities firm.
Choi Tae-joon has also had a few roles on Korean TV such as So I Married the Anti-Fan and Iron Family.
The actress is resting in the meantime after giving birth and the couple starts their parenthood journey for two.
