Gold Prices Jump Rs6,900 Per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices on Friday in Pakistan jumped as the price of a tola went up Rs6,900 to Rs460,336 according to the Sarafa Association of All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers (APGJSA).

The gold price also went up by Rs5,914 to Rs394,663 per 10 grams. The price hike follows a day after gold prices dipped Rs3,800 per tola to Rs453,436.

International gold prices also rise

This rise in Pakistan came after the rise of international prices of gold. Gold prices advanced by $69 to $4,378 an ounce, helping to lift local prices.

On Friday, silver prices also rose. The price of silver increased by Rs300 per tola to Rs7,169 in the local market.

The ongoing fluctuation underscores the ongoing volatility in the domestic bullion market, as local prices are closely following changes in international gold prices.
