Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the results of the HSSC First Annual Examinations 2026 for Part-I and Part-II where most of the top positions went to the girls.
There were 212416 candidates for the examinations. The pass percentage of HSSC Part-II was 85.95 per cent and pass percentage of HSSC Part-I was 65.31 per cent. The overall passing percentage was higher for female students than male.
In the same manner, the best students of the major groups have been announced by the board.
Amara Azhar was the topper in the pre-medical group with 1079 marks. Muhammad Jahanzeb was 1078 marks while Syeda Iman Fatima was 1076 marks to be second and third.
Rameen Arjumand got 1075 marks in the pre-engineering group and emerged as the top scorer of the group. Zainab Sami finished in second with 1,070 marks while Ansa Fatima came in next with 1,068 marks.
Abdullah Azhar scored 1063 marks to get first position in science general group. Hayan Azhar came in second with 1059 marks and Hadiya Zakria was third with 1056 marks.
Aqsa Farooq was the best in commerce group with 1051 marks. Aiza Afzal has secured second rank with 1047 marks while Amina Asif secured third with 1046 marks.
Emaan Fatima won first place among the humanities group with 1007 marks. Aamna Azhar scored 1003 marks and made her place as the second name in the list, the third name was Raja Yahya Bin Fazil and Umair Raza as they both scored 1002 marks.
Dr Ikram Ali Malik, Chairman FBISE reported seven cases of cheating during examination. 1,237 people were involved in preparing and compiling results.
Federal Minister for Education Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, who gave the keynote address at results ceremony, said children were a valuable asset of the nation and protection of children was very important. He also urged the enhancement of the quality of education and said the federal government was contemplating on what the future of the education sector should look like.
Candidates will be able to access their HSSC First Annual Examination 2026 results online in the result portal of the FBISE by using roll number. The board has also provided the SMS option which is as follows: “FB” followed by a space and roll number of the student can be sent to 5050.
